Apache Gold is a striking combination of black chlorite and golden pyrite, known for its grounding and protective energies. Metaphysically, it is believed to strengthen one’s connection to the Earth, fostering stability, balance, and a calm, centered mindset. Many use it to dispel negativity and to shield against unwanted energies, while also boosting confidence and personal power. Apache Gold is thought to stimulate clarity of thought and encourage decisive action, making it a supportive stone for new ventures or major life changes. It’s often valued as both a protective talisman and a stone of empowerment.
This is another one of the Cabs from my friend's grandmother. This one survived a housefire so the colors are slightly muted by smoke damage. They did clean off all the residue, but the colors never brightened up as much as they once did. Honestly, I think it gives the stone even more character and even more history. This is a 100 year old cabochon, of course it has gone through some things. It has a history. I think that makes it even more valuable and interesting!
I am a really big fan of this new technique I have learned for making embellished bezels. I think they are just gorgeous and really compliment the stones.
