I generally only work with real stones but I got these faux pearls and decided I needed to use them. I had a spare gold setting from another project where the stone didn't end up fitting. I made the tiger's eye twist earrings and I wanted to do it again. I don't have too many of this style of bead, the oblong ones. But I did have a string of these chrysoprase ones. And I had this gorgeous green luster beads that matched it perfectly. I love the look of the round pearls above the teardrops. Overall I think these came out well and I might need to get some more oblong beads so that I can make more of this style!

Red dragons always sell well, and this guy was no different. I was excited to use this picasso red instead of a translucent red. It does get tedious to always be using the same colors. But that being said I definitely think that this can be added to my repertoire as a solid color choice! And of course he had to have a gold belly!
