I made these as part of a series of trying to work on my scariest stones. These ones freaked me out because I just loved the colors so much, and I was afraid of ruining them. I actually am really happy I tackled them! It was a real challenge not to put the bicones all the way around the stones. But I really liked the bottom-heavy look of this. You saw the light colored ones yesterday. These caused a lot less mental strife for me. I just asked the people on my tiktok to help me decide and then I did what they said! These were a challenge for me, none of the colors felt like they matched exactly perfectly. But honestly, I love the end result anyway. I think the fact that I pulled together a solid colorway meant that everything fits even if it isn't a perfect match. Something for me to consider in future projects for sure. I had 24 of these teeny tiny little Swarovski crystals. I thought they were too small to use so I sat on them for a really long time. And then I made the gold flowers and I loved it. Then I thought, why fix it if it ain't broke? I decided to go ahead and use up all the small crystals to make these flowers in a ton of different colors. While the patterns are a fun challenge to make the solid color dragons do always sell faster and more efficiently than the more complicated ones. When you are wearing the bracelet I think it is easier to style a solid gold bangle than a complicated colorful one. Plus there is the saying that it should be interesting through, color, shape, texture, or material but not all at once. These have an amazing texture, and sometimes adding color can be too much. I didn't really want to put a pattern into this bracelet, but I only had 4g of the silver beads and I need around 17g total to make one of these. I do love how the stripes came out! I think this dragon has a far more feminine, delicate look to it than most of them that I make. This was my first stab at putting a pattern in the dragon's scales and I was really happy with how snakelike it came out. I thought it would end up a lot more symmetrical than it did, but the offset of the scale gave it a wiggly, more natural look. It wasn't my intent but I love it. I also intended for it to have an entirely black belly but I ran out of black beads pretty early on so I transitioned to a gold gradient and finished it out in gold.

This was a super interesting thing to work with. It is entirely acrylic so that was odd. Usually I work with genuine stones so this was interesting. It had the tiniest bit of give which was weird, but also I wasn't worried about dropping and breaking it. I was afraid that the beads would cover up too much of the design but that didn't really end up being a problem. I really enjoyed this project and if shoppers like it too I might end up working on similar ones in the future.
