I generally only work with real stones but I got these faux pearls and decided I needed to use them. I had a spare gold setting from another project where the stone didn't end up fitting. The pearl fit like a glove and I knew I needed to finish them together. The bottom details were completely freehanded. Honestly I doubt I could repeat it exactly the same way even if I wanted to. I saw a pair of gorgeous luna moth earrings online and I knew I had to make my own! I used a lot of their design. (I don't know much about these moths.)
