Black and Gold Double Peyote Necklace

A truly insane amount of math (trial and error) went into this piece. I knew the dimensions I needed to make the smaller peyote piece work, but I didn't know how big the larger one would have to be in order to make it work. After about four or five tries I got this to work. It has exactly the amount of mobility that I wanted it to have. The smaller one can rotate almost freely (it feels like it can rotate freely but since I understand the construction I know it will only go so far.) And it also swings really nicely. It does catch on the larger one just a little but but not in an annoying way just in a it only swings when you want it to kind of way.

For those curious I am aware of the suggestive shape of this necklace, but it is subtle enough I think that you can get away without thinking that immediately and I don't think it detracts from the appeal of the necklace at all!
