Bead Frame Earrings

Not everything I try works, and in this case it isn't because of the result. I actually love the look of these earrings. I unfortunately did my math poorly in the design of these earrings. I really wanted to try to make a simple pair, one that featured metal more than beads. I see a lot of earrings made with bead frames and I really wanted to try it for myself. Sadly, I didn't really think that through. Metal is a heck of a lot more expensive than beads. So since I price things based on what I think someone should pay for them I likely will not make any money off this design.

I can afford to only cover cost on this piece for a few reasons. One, I don't charge for my time. I make the things I make while I am at work at my store so my time is already paid for. Two, I make a little bit of profit off of most of the jewelry I make and that will average out to this as well in the long run. I could even afford to lose money on these and still have my jewelry be a profitable venture. Although I would like to avoid that just as a good business practice.

I really do love how these came out and I really think someone is going to love them just as much as I do! They will be one of a kind after all!
