These are available on my Etsy here!
To address the primary concern first. Yes, these are not cubes. I call them cube earrings because rectangular prism doesn't roll off the tongue in quite the same way.
These are kind of weird to make, they start off super fun. I have a grand plan for what I want to do, and then like four rows in I get bored. I don't know whats going on, since like all beadweaving it is the repetitive motion. But they all have that and I don't get bored of others. Who knows? I have made five or six pieces like this, I still have three of them. These black and gold ones were the first ones that I made. You can't go wrong with black and gold. It goes with every outfit and people always gravitate towards them. In the last picture you can see a sneak peak of another pair I made in a different colorway.
I usually struggle to take pictures of my earrings, direct sunlight is too bright, the shadows in my tree are inconsistent, and I am a poor photographer in general. But this cloudy day, just after a very light rain was perfect. It was bright diffuse light and I think the little drops of water on the branches just adds to the whole ambiance. I also think that the colors of the earrings look so much brighter with the cloudy background.
