Stripey Sleepy Dragon

So weird thought. I wish I had used this stripey yarn to make a Parasaurolophus. I know that is incredibly random but they just scream duck billed dinosaur to me. Oh well, live and learn. That being said I doubt I will buy this yarn again. I don't usually like stripey yarn. I always want it to look a certain way but it never does. This one was much better than most though. I really like that the stripes are irregular widths. Of course the varying row lengths affect that too but it still came out nicely.

I think I have just enough yarn left over to make a pocket dragon but I will tackle that another day. Making this sleeping dragon is one of the first steps in my move towards hopefully vending at the Ren Faire next year. I don't know if I will be able to make enough stock or even if I will have time to do it but I like having a goal. I know I want tons of dragons available if I am going to do it.
