Pink Black and Gold Dragon
So I did a pink black and gold commission and I said I usually wouldn't pair those colors together. I sorta forgot about this one. But in my defense on that one the gold and pink were in the back and the black was the belly so it does have a whole different vibe. Honestly I like that vibe a lot better. It just looks more elegant than this one. But this one is a bit more powerful, feels like a more fierce dragon. They are both great takes on the same color palette and I learn

Picasso Red Dragon Bracelet
Red dragons always sell well, and this guy was no different. I was excited to use this picasso red instead of a translucent red. It does get tedious to always be using the same colors. But that being said I definitely think that this can be added to my repertoire as a solid color choice! And of course he had to have a gold belly! Maybe I will try one with a red belly, see how that tone on tone looks. I have been enjoying that style a lot recently.

Gold on Gold Dragon
I told you tone on tone was a win! I really love this muted gold and I definitely didn't get enough of it. I will have to remedy that with my next order. But, how amazing are the subtle hue shifts in this gold? They just give the scales so much depth and visual interest. I only have a translucent gold now but I will absolutely be getting more of this, the translucent is fun, but solid colors are where it is at!

Green on Green Dragon Bracelet
This bracelet sold so quickly! But then, red and green dragons always do. I usually give green dragons gold bellys, but this time I am really happy I went with green. It just makes this dragon feel very saturated and I love the way the slightly translucent beads reflect the greens around inside the dragon is just so rich. Sad to see him go, but happy to have one be so loved that it went so fast!

Purple Dragon Commission
It is the time of commissions, I am getting so many and I love it! This customer wanted a mix of dark and light purples. So I took my "Rainbow" black bag and sorted out all the purples and then mixed them with this lighter fuchsia to accomplish the look. Was it worth it to individually color sort a bag of iridescent black beads? Yes. Do I already have another commission requesting that I do so but this time for blue beads? Also yes. Do I feel crazy? Maybe. Is sorting beads th

Pink Dragon Commission
People are so creative! I wouldn't have ever thought to put gold spots on a pink dragon, nor would I have thought to have such heavy contrast with a black belly like this. But as always, the customer is always right in matters of taste. And they were right! I absolutely love how it came out! It is just so striking. I am ordering a different shade of gold and then I may just have to make another one!

Green Dragon Commission
I love making these dragon bracelets, and I get a lot of custom commission requests for them these days. This one was for a customer who needed an extra large size. I usually make them to fit 6-7 inch wrists, this one needed to fit an 8 inch wrist. No problem! But the only hold up was I had to find something to test the fit on, since obviously my wrist wouldn't work. The only thing I had on hand ended up being a pint of titos (the pros of beading in a liquor store) which happ

Green Floral Dragon Bracelet
This wasn't a commission! Just me trying my hand at a more complicated pattern. I wanted it to look like a field of flowers. I do think I sort of accomplished my goal. To an extent. But I think more simple patterns are a bit more legible. The tricky thing is that as big as these bracelets seem I am working with a pixelated offset grid that is only three pixels wide. There isn't much you can do in three pixels. Across a diagonal you can get six, but in one row, only three. I w

Sideways Dragon Bloodstone Pendant
Dragon bloodstone is a captivating gem known for its striking green and red hues, reminiscent of mythical dragons. This stone is a type of jasper, a variety of chalcedony, and is cherished for its unique appearance and mystical associations. Historically, dragon bloodstone has been revered in various cultures for its supposed protective and healing properties. It is said to have been used by ancient warriors as a talisman for courage and vitality. The stone's origins can be t

Turquoise Dragon Bracelet
Blue is my favorite color, that is no secret. I don't usually like the stone turquoise but I do love teal colors that are often called turquoise. These are glass, they aren't turquoise stone, but they really really look like they are and I actually love it! It is technically just a picasso Turquoise (the color) finish on glass beads but I think it makes such an amazing bracelet. This is probably one of my favorite dragons that I have made so far. I got a ton of these beads so

Clear Dragon Bracelet
Someone on TikTok challenged me to make a clear dragon bracelet. I have been getting a lot of attention on my videos about dragon bracelets recently. A few people have ordered commissions but this one was just a challenge. I think I pulled it off. Technically the back scales are a pale yellow but it is so transparent that I think it counts anyway. The belly has both white and clear but that gives the belly a little bit of depth as well. I honestly absolutely love how it came

Tri-Color Dragon Bracelet
I know just said yesterday that patterns can be a lot on these dragons but I take it all back! The pattern on this dragon is to die for! I love the pops of red, the way the gold snakes around and the neutral background of the black. It might be a challenge for someone to style this piece but I think that if someone can it will be so worth it. Imagine an entire outfit styled around these, it would be amazing. You might only be able to wear it to like one event but the event wo

Gold and Blue Dragon Bracelet
While the patterns are a fun challenge to make the solid color dragons do always sell faster and more efficiently than the more complicated ones. When you are wearing the bracelet I think it is easier to style a solid gold bangle than a complicated colorful one. Plus there is the saying that it should be interesting through, color, shape, texture, or material but not all at once. These have an amazing texture, and sometimes adding color can be too much. But this basic gold? C

Silver and Pink Dragon Bracelet
I didn't really want to put a pattern into this bracelet, but I only had 4g of the silver beads and I need around 17g total to make one of these. I do love how the stripes came out! I think this dragon has a far more feminine, delicate look to it than most of them that I make. Yes it has a pink belly and that could be a factor but I am actually attributing it to the more muted color palette all around. The soft white, the slightly matte silver, and the muted pink. It just fee

Gold Patterned Dragon Bracelet
This was my first stab at putting a pattern in the dragon's scales and I was really happy with how snakelike it came out. I thought it would end up a lot more symmetrical than it did, but the offset of the scale gave it a wiggly, more natural look. It wasn't my intent but I love it. I also intended for it to have an entirely black belly but I ran out of black beads pretty early on so I transitioned to a gold gradient and finished it out in gold.

Teeny Tiny Pocket Dragon
What happens when you accidentally grab the wrong weight yarn and then decide to commit to it anyway? A teeny tiny pocket dragon! They are already super small, and this dude is even smaller. I probably won't do it again intentionally because when things get smaller, I feel like their price tag should too, even though it is the exact same amount of work for me. That being said the smaller size only makes this guy even cuter! I love him so much. His name is Peaches and Cream.
