Ramsey the Dragon

Have you ever had a near-death experience? Felt a cold chill down your spine and lived to tell the tale? Ramsey might have been nearby. He eats exclusively Banshees. Banshees scream when they are in the presence of someone who is about to pass away tragically. Ramsey eats them before they even get the chance to scream. He doesn't care that he has saved your life, but he does care about the extra flavor the near miss gives the Banshee. So next time your heart nearly stops, or the tree branch lands inches away from you thank Ramsey, but don't look him in the eye unless you want to burn in its flames.
I did a crochet crazy move. I made an entire dragon in black yarn. I do not regret it he came out flawlessly. I love him. No notes. A lovely woman in her 80's convinced her husband to purchase him and she giggled the entire time she had him in her hands. I really can't think of a better home for Ramsey. Or a person I would have expected to buy him less. I definitely want to make another black dragon at some point. Probably with Purple as its detailing instead of red. But, I could be convinced to do red again. I would have to do different eyes though. I never want to make the same dragon twice.
I also love the name Ramsey for a dragon. It is derived from Ramses of Egypt and of course everyone knows about Ramses the great. But by changing the last syllable to -ey instead of -es it gives it a modern sinister air. A dragon with eyes like that should have a sinister air. Those were by far the best eyes in the entire set I have. I was so excited to use them. they look just like the eye of Sauron and I love them. I almost didn't use them on Ramsey since they were too perfect and I didn't want to risk wasting them, but why do I have them if not to use them. I am so so glad that I did!
Unfortunately, since this guy has sold I cannot include him in my count for a potential Renn Faire stock but I did get paid for him so I can't complain too much.
