Blue goldstone is really cool because its kind of just glass, well fancy glass, mixed with shards of copper. It was made by accident in Italy by glassmakers and since then has skyrocketed in popularity! I personally think it is just so beautiful! I've used the original goldstone before (red with sparkle) and this is my first time using the blue version. I am in love! The blue is so dark and shimmery that it just looks like a little fantasy void portal when its bezel set into the necklace. I freaking love it! If I hadn't already kept my last bloodstone piece I probably would keep this one!

This is another of the antique cabs cut by my friends Great Grandfather over 100 years ago. I am just loving how unique all of his pieces are!
