Dendritic Jasper is often seen as a stone of growth, grounding, and connection with nature. Its branching patterns are thought to symbolize expansion, perseverance, and the interconnection of all life. Metaphysically, it is believed to encourage stability during times of change and to nurture patience and endurance. Many also associate it with deepening meditation, fostering inner peace, and strengthening one’s bond with the earth’s natural rhythms.
This piece called back to the gembone design a little bit more strongly than any of the other four pieces in this set. I really like it. I think the cream beads do a really nice job of pulling the more subtle elements out of the cab and letting the whole thing shine cohesively. I ended up using 4 total bead colors in this one to pull off the impression and I am just so proud of myself that I was able to do that!
This is another of the antique cabs cut by friends great grandfather. Once again I am just honored to be able to let his pieces finally get finished. He was a silversmith so I imagine that these beaded settings were not what he had envisioned when he cut them, but I hope that I have made a work of art that makes him happy!
