Ruby in Zoisite Necklace

I kind of took a risk on this one. The ruby in the zoisite is a deep purple, but I decided to highlight it with a more pinkish fuschia color. I knew that my darker purple would match it better, but also I thought the fuschia would be overall a much better look, against the black it would pop brighter. I am so happy I took the risk. You all know I am ever improving on my understanding of how to work with color and in this case I was absolutely right! I think the fuschia is just perfect! I also decided to braid my leather cord together to make a weightier chain for this piece. It is a much shorter chain but it ends up looking like a perfect little choker. I love everything about this piece!
