Lionel the Dragon

Lionel is a construction worker. But not in the traditional sense. He only builds homes for sea serpents. He specializes in complex undersea tunnel systems. If you know of anyone in need of a sea palace or underwater tunnel send them his way he is always looking for referrals. He has been known to work with Lothar in the past to help with housing for the Rusalka. That is slightly out of his comfort zone though since Rusalka are usually found in freshwater and his materials work best in salty environment.
I already talked a little bit about Lionel's reason for existence when I talked about Ronaldo. But I will sum up some of it for those who weren't around to learn about it there. My sister loves soccer, and hates Christiano Ronaldo, but she loves Lionel Messi. I named Ronaldo randomly but she made the connection and demanded that I rename him Messi. I decided instead to make a new and better dragon and name him Lionel. I didn't want a dragon named Messi. Despite that being his origin I don't want other people recognizing the name like that cause I am weird. But I do like the name Lionel.
I wouldn't normally use grey as the accent on a dragon but those are the colors of Lionel Messi's main team apparently and I actually really liked the result. Plus it tied in really well with his eye. The only thing that might have been a better match would have been a yellow but I really doubt that I would have liked yellow and blue together.
You may also notice that Lionel has no horns. The pattern has horns. Usually my Lionel style dragons have horns (ironically taken the Vincent pattern). I knew very early on in this process that Lionel was going to be a water dragon. Not because he was blue, but because the two blues that I used together to make his body looked exactly like water dappling the sunlight through a pool. So he got lots of fins and things that made him feel sleek. Horns I think would only provide drag and make swimming harder so they got omitted.
He is one of my favorites and honestly the fact that he hasn't sold yet kind of makes me happy. I know if I take him to a Renn Faire he will sell. But I also wouldn't be mad if he stayed mine forever.
