Someone on TikTok challenged me to make a clear dragon bracelet. I have been getting a lot of attention on my videos about dragon bracelets recently. A few people have ordered commissions but this one was just a challenge. I think I pulled it off. Technically the back scales are a pale yellow but it is so transparent that I think it counts anyway. While the patterns are a fun challenge to make the solid color dragons do always sell faster and more efficiently than the more complicated ones. When you are wearing the bracelet I think it is easier to style a solid gold bangle than a complicated colorful one. Plus there is the saying that it should be interesting through, color, shape, texture, or material but not all at once. These have an amazing texture, and sometimes adding color can be too much. I didn't really want to put a pattern into this bracelet, but I only had 4g of the silver beads and I need around 17g total to make one of these. I do love how the stripes came out! This was my first stab at putting a pattern in the dragon's scales and I was really happy with how snakelike it came out. I thought it would end up a lot more symmetrical than it did, but the offset of the scale gave it a wiggly, more natural look. It wasn't my intent but I love it. I also intended for it to have an entirely black belly but I ran out of black beads pretty early on so I transitioned to a gold gradient and finished it out in gold.
