Agate Earring and Bracelet Set

Agate is a type of Quartz, specifically the subcategory of banded Chalcedony. It has been found in artifacts dating back to Babylon and Ancient Egypt. It can be found all over the world but flourished in the modern world in Germany in the 15th century and remains popular till today! Agate promotes stability, composure, and maturity. It is recommended to new mothers after birth, but honestly who couldn't benefit from some extra stability in their life?

I don't usually make sets, I think I have only made three total. That being said, I ordered 5 of these agates to make the bracelet. I wanted extras in case I needed them for length, and in case I didn't like one of the stones and wanted to swap it out. But I loved all of the stones and ended up with two extras! So I made a matching set of earrings. I probably would break up this set if someone really, really wanted me to. But it would break my heart.

I honestly think that this bracelet might be the single thing I have made that I am most proud of. If wearing bracelets didn't drive me absolutely bonkers I would keep it for myself. I love it so much. It is ornate without being ostentatious. Lightweight even though it has muliple stones. It is perfect, I have no notes.
