Beaded Chain Link Bracelet

When I started this project I just wanted to make a little two link earring set. But then I made six links and decided I wanted to use them all together. I also originally wanted the links to be a little bit smaller, but this was the smallest I could get them to be and still have a clear shape with a clear open space in the middle. Since the bead-links are made of hollow tubes this bracelet is actually shockingly light!.
I always say blue looks better with silver than it does with gold, but I think this deep royal blue is just amazing next to the gold. It looked really grey when I tried it with a true silver. It did look good with gunmetal, but that gave a much darker look than what I was going for. I think this blue and gold is extremely classy.
A part of me wants to make a necklace like this but I am not sure, it used nearly an entire tube of beads to make this much, and I am just afraid that it would be cost prohibitive. I really like the flexibility that the smaller connecting portions give it, and if I had gone for a more traditional linked look than it wouldn't be able to lie flat against a wearer's wrist. I think those points would be uncomfortable after a while. As it is this is wonderfully comfortable! Should I go ahead and make a pair of earrings with just two links each?
