Black and Purple on Gold Peyote

Remember how I said I had to be careful to make sure that I didn't mess up and use too many beads of the same color when I talked about the first one of this set? It was true, but as you will see from this one I definitely learned that lesson too late at the time. I used twice as many black beads in the first pair as purple or gold. And.... I did the same thing again here. So you can imagine what you are about to see in the next one.

I think this one was my favorite in the set. I really liked how it was dark, but not in a gloomy kind of way. Only in a subtle and neutral kind of way. They are purple, but I feel like they could go with so many things since the black tones down the purple. The gold is also a bit more of a copper/bronze than a truly bright gold, but honestly that only makes it even nicer to me!

I really like the look of one color in the middle and another color bordering it. I anticipate you will see a lot more of this in the future!
