Steel Grey and Blue Twisted Peyote Earrings

It is hard to tell in some of the photos, but there are actually two colors of blue in these earrings. The front/top has a light shade, and the bottom/back has a dark shade. I wish I had gone just a shade or two more different, but I am glad I didn't do my first pick, which was even closer. In person it is easier to tell that they aren't the same color, but it is still close.

I had the idea to make these earrings a while ago. Not the colors necessarily, but the pattern. With the border color being the entirety of one side of the earrings and the border on the other side. I think I am close. I don't know what isn't perfect but I feel like if I changed just one thing about it it would be perfect. I will have to try again to make another set and see if I can improve upon it. I really do still like them though.

You may notice that this pair of earrings isn't mirrored at all. Usually when I make asymmetrical earrings I try to mirror the pair. I didn't do that with these and I have mixed feelings about it. I like it though, it makes them a bit more unique to me.

I am taking suggestions on how to improve upon this idea in the future!
