Purple and Black Brick Stitch Diamonds

Y'all know I am not the biggest fan of brick stitch, but it does make these abstract geometric patterns so wonderfully. I really like the purples that I have right now, they make the best gradients. I really want to get the reds to do red gradients but honestly whenever I have the opportunity to get new colors I always get cool colors. I have so many purples, blues, and greens. I have a few reds, no yellows or oranges. So if that doesn't indicate my preferences I don't know what could.

I particularly loved that the darkest purple in this product kind of becomes a gradient with the black itself. I don't know if I would make another similar pattern but I definitely don't regret making this one. It is unique and cool and made for a really cool asymmetrical design when I flipped one. I like making earrings mirror each other for a few reasons. The first being I usually can't decide if I should mirror them or not and so claiming I have a strong preference makes it easier for me to decide even if it isn't super true. And secondly, I really like feeling like there is a left earring and a right earring. Even though you could switch them around and it would still make sense.
