Onyx with Druzy Quartz Inclusions

This stone wasn't the most expensive I have ever bought but I do think its the most unique! I don't work with much raw stone or live edges so to see a polished cab with that geode texture was so exciting! I thought doing the tone on tone with the blacks and gunmetals was the right balance to keep the whole piece focused on that sparkle in the quartz.

I will wait to see if people like it as much as I do. (Although if the social media response is anything to go by they do!) But I definitely plan on getting more stones like this and making a lot more pieces, maybe even with some colors but who knows? The black and grey really is lovely.
