Light Blue Bird Keychain

I recently had a bunch of my keychains sell. So since I am trying to build up enough stock to do a shop at the Renn faire next year, I needed to make a few more. Unfortunately, I didn't make very many more, but I did make this little blue dude. I love him. There is a little bit more contrast between his head and body in person, but I just couldn't get the camera to capture it the way the eye can.

In a good and bad turn of events I don't think this dude will last all the way until the Renn Faire. these birds are not only one of my favorites to make but they are also super popular. It is ok though, if they keep selling I will keep having excuses to make more of them! Win win! I tried to do more simple eyes on this guy. I liked how much quicker they were to do but now with the pictures blown up so big on my computer screen they kind of look like cartoon death eyes. I may have to revisit this strategy. They don't look like that in person as much but still. I might even redo his eyes. We will see how much this sits with me.
