So I don't actually know how these do on the sale rack because they never make it there! I have made two so far and each time a friend or family member has claimed the little guy as their own before I even get a chance to put them out. But I do think this lends well to the idea that they would sell well if I could sell them. Honestly, I prefer when people claim the things I make because that means that they are really loved and someone is excited about them. Which is always my goal. I give away more stuff than I will ever sell.
To me the point of making these items is because I enjoy the process, I want to make stuff. I only sell them because otherwise I would be absolutely overrun with tiny crochet animals.
These foxes are super fun to make because I love when someone makes a pattern small but still intelligent. They have a few different pieces but really manage to convey an entire creature, and a bit of a mood. They do take a while to make and the right colors of orange are actually kind of hard to find so I don't make these too often. But I should make them more because they are really fun to make!
I haven't been able to decide if the chain should go on the side like I did here, or on the top of the back. Obviously I settled on the side but I am still not sure that that was the right choice.
The pattern is free and available on Ravelry here.
