Glass or Maybe Quartz Pendant Necklace

Clear Quartz is highly prized for its ability to clear the mind of negativity and enhance higher spiritual receptiveness. It is considered the master healer, amplifying energy by absorbing, storing, releasing, and regulating it.

This stone was sold to me as a dyed quartz stone, but I suspect it is glass. My logic for this is that Quartz is a relatively hard stone, it can't be scratched by glass. The beads that I use are glass, and there are some scratch lines on the back of this cabochon from the beads. So it is still possible that this is quartz and those marks aren't actually scratches, or it is also possible that the finishes that are put on my beads have a greater hardness than glass. I honestly don't know.

I love how this necklace looks, the bezel is such a cool elaborate shape compared to a lot more of my circular pieces that I normally do. What do you think of this one?
