Jasper, known as the “supreme nurturer,” sustains and supports during stress and brings tranquility. It absorbs negative energy, cleanses the aura, and aligns the chakras. Promotes ecological awareness, courage, and quick thinking.
I got a second pair of these really cool Jasper spikes. Well, sort of, my partner picked them out. He really wanted me to make some more masculine pieces. Apparently, once upon a time he had pierced ears. Not for this style of earrings, but still he thought too many of my things were super feminine and that it might be nice to expand my variety just a little bit. I figured why not, it is always fun to take on a new challenge.
Dark stones are always really hard to color match, because the beads often end up looking super bright by comparison or it just looks black. I had a kind of mottled gold, it isn't super bright and I felt like it might be a good way to have a metallic vibe, but also match the more muted color palette.
I don't think they're quite my personal style, but I do think I rose to the challenge and they will be perfect for someone. Honestly, they might look really good on a goth blonde, they would stand our really well against pale hair, but they are dramatic enough to fit well with a bold vibe like goth/alt. Maybe my partner is right and there will be a guy who wants to wear them too!
