Red Red Creek Jasper Spike Earrings

Jasper, known as the “supreme nurturer,” sustains and supports during stress and brings tranquility. It absorbs negative energy, cleanses the aura, and aligns the chakras. Promotes ecological awareness, courage, and quick thinking.

These stones were actually picked out by my partner. He wanted to find more masculine stones to add to my line up. I am not sure if they are masculine or not, but I absolutely love the fiery reds on these spikes. I could not have picked a better pair of stones myself.

I struggled to make the stud for these, if the red got too bright they looked like costume jewelry. If I used matte red it was too somber for the stone. When I used green I just couldn't get the color to match at all. Gold looked ok but it felt like an easy way out that could be improved upon. I eventually settled on this brick red that has just a touch of metallic sheen. I think it came out amazing, even though it was hard for me to use only one color!
