Spotty Bloodstone Earrings

Bloodstone is known as a stone of courage, vitality, and purification. It is believed to strengthen the body’s energy, promoting endurance and resilience during times of challenge or transformation. Spiritually, Bloodstone is said to cleanse and balance the root and heart chakras, grounding the spirit while encouraging compassion and strength. Many also use it as a protective stone, thought to ward off negative energies and inspire confidence and determination.

These stones took me almost a year to finally use because I just couldn't decide what I wanted to do with them. I usually only use pointed stones for this spike style of earrings but these are fully rectangular. I decided finally to go with my quatrafoile style of stud for them. I think the red I picked was perfect but there is a chance that I will cut them apart and replace the silver beads. Technically they are clear beads and I thought they would tie into the clear aspects of the stone, but once the thread runs through them they basically just look like silver beads.

I do still like these earrings a lot. I just also have a different vision that I may choose to explore in the future. We will see.
