Sodalite Tie Pendant Earrings

Orange sodalite is believed to blend the mental clarity of traditional blue sodalite with the uplifting, creative energy of its orange hues. I made these earrings as part of a series to clear out some of my older stones to make room for new purchases at a recent gem show! These weren't particularly challenging if I am being honest, but I work with sodalite a lot so I had kind of put them off to give myself a break from the same colors.

That was a mistake these were so gorgeous. Probably the best color matching I have ever done with sodalite. It has inspired me and reignited my love of orange sodalite so I will definitely be making more pieces with it again in the future. That's why challenges like that are so good for me as a creator. By forcing myself to get out of my comfort zone I sometimes reignite a passion or inspire myself for new ideas in the future.
