Parrot Wing Chrysocolla Pendant

Parrot Wing Chrysocolla is a vibrant stone that embodies the harmonious energy of the earth and sky, blending the grounding qualities of jasper with the soothing vibrations of chrysocolla. I didn't start this bezel with this stone in mind. I actually wanted to use a different cab. But that cab didn't end up fitting in it, and by the time I realized it, I was too far along to want to take it apart. So I scrambled. I checked every single stone in my collection (well, every stone that I thought the colors might work with), and finally, this gorgeous parrot wing chrysocolla ended up fitting it perfectly. I changed the color of the 15/0 s that I planned to use to match this stone, and I added the embellishments on the edges. I love it!

Chrysocolla is such an intimidating stone to me because it has so many unique colors in each stone, and I never know how to match them. Honestly, though, this came out almost perfect! I really love this pendant. I haven't put a chain on it yet because I actually think it would work best on a leather cord, and I don't have any of those right now.
