Light Blue with Dark Blue Belly Pocket Dragon

Ok! This time I actually have data for you! I always forget to weigh things ahead of time. there were only 18g of light blue when I started and I used it all. But I had to shorten each of his feet by one row so I would say 18g is not enough for the main body. I would probably not do it again if I had less than 20g. Of course I need to actually get a few more data points since each yarn has a different yardage to weight ratio. None of my yarns that I use for these guys have bands since they are scraps from that inherited stash that I have. I know that they are generally acrylic and that they fall into the category of weight 4 for the most part. But that is all I know. Could I check WPI? Yes. Will I? probably not. Weighing the yarn before and after is already a lot of background work for me.

Honestly this is really good information for me to have though, since I never know if I am going to have enough yarn for one of these guys. Maybe I can make myself be a little bit more disciplined? We shall see. This guy is 7/25 of the ones I want for the Renn Faire.

Also just because I am curious about how bad the backlog of projects to post is getting I finished this little dude on July 14th so we will see how long it takes for him to get posted!
