Leslie the Round Fish

Two days ago you met April. Today you meet Leslie. Once again I let a friend name this fish and he picked parks and recs characters. Although when this fish was named April the fish didn't exist yet so it wasn't a parks and rec theme yet. Leslie was chosen because he couldn't determine the gender of this fish and Leslie is a gender neutral name.

I really want a good fish pattern. I haven't found any yet. I tried this one out and its ok but I don't love it. The triangle fish is a lot better but not the vibe I mean when I say a want a good fish pattern. This was also a video pattern which I also do not like, I personally am a fan of written patterns, but I know that is not everyone's preference. I am going to embed the video tutorial at the end of this article, but I will also link to the designer's ravelry here since she also sells variations of this fish.

Like the triangle fish pattern this took two skeins of the pink thread. This is another reason that I think I will try to find a different fish pattern in the future rather than working this one again. But who knows? Maybe this will be incredibly popular and all I will ever make again is little fat fish!
