I DID IT!!!!!!!!

I finally finished this sweater! Almost exactly 20 days after I got the yarn it is complete, and it fits her almost perfectly! Comments I have, while the pattern recommends 9 skeins for the smallest (and I bought 10 just to make sure I had enough) I used exactly 4 skeins. I double checked and the weight and yardage had not changed, so I do not understand why their estimate was so far off. Bad news, I spent almost 80 dollars more than I needed to, good news, I have 6 skeins of super nice yarn that I can make something else with. I learned quite a few new stitches while making this, I got to do a raglan decrease for the first time, cabled increases and decreases, and joined separate pieces in a knitted round. I feel like my skills advanced quite a lot in this process and I almost don't even notice the mistakes that I made when I see mom wearing it. You can find the pattern on Annie's Catalogue: Milkweed Pullover. And you can get the yarn at Sunday Knits here I used Ash. Total Cost ~$60 with shipping and tax and excluding the extra yarn I bought following the pattern. I would absolutely recommend this pattern to anyone! Here my mom can be seen modeling her new sweater.
