Green Tree Agate Necklace

Green Tree Agate is often regarded as a stone of growth, stability, and abundance. Its natural patterns are believed to strengthen one’s connection to the earth and encourage a sense of peace and grounding. Metaphysically, it is said to promote emotional balance, calm overactive thoughts, and nurture inner security. Many also associate Green Tree Agate with attracting prosperity, supporting new beginnings, and fostering harmony in both personal and environmental spaces.

Green tree agate is one of my favorite stones, in the past I have only used it to make the tie shaped earrings that are kind of my signature style. But, at the gem show in March I saw this cab, it was huge, it was gorgeous, it had to be mine. I have been sitting on it since then, since such large stones are really intimidating to me. But recently I have gotten really good at ornamenting the bezel set stones that I do and I felt like I could tackle this beauty.

I am really happy that I did. I think it came out amazing! The silvery white beads feel like lacework around the stone face and around the edges. The green bicones are the perfect color to compliment the stone. I honestly wouldn't change a single thing about how this came out. It took me over five hours to get right and I cut it apart three times in the process. But it was worth it. I love this piece so much. The only reason I am not keeping it for myself is because I don't usually wear such large pieces. I know I am going to regret not keeping it when it sells though.
