I don't usually use wood in my pieces. I stick to stone mostly, occasionally acrylic but that is very rare as I prefer to use real products. This piece of peanut wood just looked so cool to me. It seemed like a piece of turritella agate, but with its own unique flair. So pretty I had to get it. I think it is finished with some kind of resin or polish. I am not sure and the vendor didn't have a good answer for me, but it has some kind of shiny coating. It is possible that that
