This blanket has a bit of a backstory. I had an ex who had this fantasy of coming in from the rain with a girl and wrapping her up in a red blanket in front of a fire. (He was a very innocent guy) I decided that I could at least make the blanket for him so that he was one step closer. He bought the yarn and I loosely knitted this up, then I used some extra grey and red that I had and crocheted this border, it wove together and took me far longer than was reasonable but I really like it.
