I made this book as a gift for my ex. Luckily for me we broke up before I gave it to him so I got to keep it. This was my first attempt at using real leather in a book and it had mixed results. Using a hand drill to make each one of those holes to stitch through and hold the leather down just about killed me. This is a case-bound book so the leather is glued and stitched to book board making it a hardback book. I also think that some improvements can be made on the tie in future projects. But overall I think it came out really well.
