This blanket is the colors of my residential college at my school. Maroon and Grey. But it is also amazingly soft and super super warm. The whole blanket is Half-Double Crochet except the central stripe which is Double Crochet. I used 3 skeins of Bernat Blanket Yarn in grey and then part of a skein of maroon for the border which was a pattern of my own where I wanted to make the border feel like it was creeping into the grey, and then one row of Single Crochet.
