This is part of a project to use up all my old acrylics so that I can justify buying nicer yarn. Yarn weight four, (AKA 9 WPI, AKA Aran/Worsted). I used a J/6mm hook, and ended up with a square roughly 14.5 inches wide. I dislike yellow but actually liked how this turned out. Every square in this project will start with a chain 50, it's kinda going to explore how the different patterns work into different gauges. The first stitch was just a simple Waffle Stitch pattern.
Chain 50
R1: skip first 2 chain, dc in each chain (48 total stitches)
R2: Chain 2, dc in next stitch, *Front post dc, dc in next two stitches* Repeat till end
R3: Chain 2, *Front post dc in next two stitches, dc* Repeat till end
Repeat rows 2-3 until it reaches your desired length.
