This was all spun with my drop spindle. It is the first roving I have ever tried to spin. I spun about 8 ounces of wool and ended up with somewhere between 275 and 300 yards. I am spinning up another 8 ounces and then I will decide if I want to ply the two together. This was so much easier to spin than all my babydoll wool. Also pictured is the lovely bobbin that my partner made for me.
