Coptic Bound Leather Book

Coptic bound books are really unique because the entire spine is exposed. Instead of stitching the signatures (bundles of pages) together into a book block and then attaching that to the cover the pages and covers are stitched together simultaneously. While this can be done in complex patterns this was my first attempt so I kept it simple and worked in straight lines across the spine.
