Since I can never have just one thing happening at a time, I decided to start a cable blanket to practice for mom's sweater. I have already restarted it about 6 times. The first because I just messed up the cables. The second my gauge was off and it was going to be 66" wide. The third because I somehow managed to work halfway across a row and then turn and work back so that threw the whole thing off. The fourth because my dad complained that I never make blankets big enough for him so I recast it to be about 59" wide. So, ya know, good thing I decided to practice... This time though it is working up fine, and I should get mom's yarn soon so that I can begin that!
