Works in Progress

This is being worked with 3.75 and 3.25 round needles and the same Sunday Knits Nirvana as my previous sweater. So far I am losing my mind. The pattern is gorgeous but with such tiny needles and fine yarn this is taking forever to work up. I started it about 1 week after I finished the other sweater

It is pretty rare that I will have works in progress with baking, but the sponge for this particular bread has to rise overnight. The recipe I use is this.

This is just a little tease of what the final blanket will look like. I ran out of my yarn before it was the size that I wanted so it is on hold for now while I wait for it to arrive. Since this yarn was decommissioned by Lion Brand I had to order some off Amazon. Thankfully a seller not only had 2

So I have these balls of my favorite yarn in the world, Lion brand Country, which has been discontinued. I am going to work this in the round but hopefully into a rectangular shape. I will use a size K hook. I will keep you guys updated on how it goes!

My plan for today is to work on knitting this cable blanket a bit more while watching my boyfriend game! knitting is always better when you have something to occupy your mind while your hands work.

1 pound of Carron yarn later and I have accomplished this much. I will definitely need a few more skeins before I am able to complete this project, but I love the pattern. I almost like the modified seed stitch more than the cables though for some reason...

The yarn just got here! It feels so nice, even before working with it I can feel just how high quality it is. I normally work with primarily cotton or even polyester yarns because they are cheap. I just posted the blog post about this blanket but I began it this morning, and I wrote that post last night so I already have an update!
